Book Recommendations

Here are some of my favorite books!

I truly believe that reading & practicing the ideas from these books can help anyone live a better, happier life.

Click on the title of each book below to go to a detailed summary of each book; including favorite quotes, life-changing ideas, & a lot of love. Enjoy!

Book List:

•Way Of The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (Detailed summary coming soon)

(One of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite books)

After reading Mediations by Marcus Aurelius, I have become more intrigued with the idea of stoicism.  A New Earth is not about stoicism, but it has some of its concept intertwined within it.••

A New Earth talks about the current state of the human ego (who we think we are).  And it really expands on our true Source, consciousness.  This book expands the mind, and when again it can scare some people, it is also very liberating.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (Detailed summary coming soon)

All of my book recommendations will have a theme of mindfulness in them.  Mindful as in being conscious of the the life you are living; taking responsibility for your life.

I will continue to add books to this list.  If you have any book recommendations please email me at Kthompson7814@gmail.com.

Books are one of the main ingredients for success.  We can never read enough 🙂

  1. Have you read any of Thich Nhat Hanh’s books? If so, which ones are your favorites?

    1. I have not, but I just searched him & it looks like he has a bunch of amazing books. I’m definitely going to read his books. Do you have any suggestions of which to begin with?

    2. I like Living Buddha, Living Christ. Super interesting to note how the wisdom of each compliment each other’s compassion to self and others so wonderfully. Kinda broadened my mind too.
