I saw him standing there, on the other side of the road…The man in all black. I mean, he was just standing there! It was super weird, so I decided to watch for awhile. Then he got on his phone! I mean can you believe that?

Weeeeeiirrrrdddd…right?! He’s just standing there. On the street. And I mean there’s this bright red fire hydrant next to him. Like Boom-Bam!! It made the man in all black stand out even more! So I get my phone out to take a picture of him, but he sees me. I literally jumped in a bush next to me…Yea that doesn’t work like it does on TV. I was stuck!!! I mean, can you believe that? Stuck! In a bush!

Then the man in black started walking toward me. I stood really still to pretend that I was part of the bush, but he kept walking! He came right up to me and ya know what he said?! Come on, take a guess!…Alright he said “Til things are brighter, I’m the man in black.” Then he just walked away! Can you believe that?! He just said that!! Then walked away!!…And uh, could I get a band-aid? That bush really messed me up.

Michael V-Sauce here, the intellectual. Here to discuss how the Earth is flat…Facts. I say. Have proven the flatness of the Earth. Look at this picture right here…A donut, yes. But this picture, the Earth, flat. Hmm. Yes. You see. Facts. Some are convinced the Earth is a flat donut, and that may be the case. The sun cooks the Earth, “Donut” and in turn it is flat. Worms eat the Earth so we see that it is edible. An edible donut. Yummm. You see. Sauce. Michael. V. The intellectual. Out.

Now I would like you to step forward…Over here, and peruse some of these faces from the past…

They’re not that different from you, are they?…They believe they’re destined for great things, just like many of you. Their eyes are full of hope, just like you…

Did they wait until it was too late to make from their lives even one iota of what they were capable?… Because, you see class, these guys are now fertilizing daffodils…

You must strive to find your own voice! Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all…Thoreau said, “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation.” Don’t be resigned to that. Break out!

Just when you think you know something, you have to look at it in another way. Even though it may seem silly or wrong, you must try! When you read, don’t just consider what the author thinks. Consider what you think!…

Now we all have a great need for acceptance, but you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go (imitating a goat) “that’s baaaaad”…Robert Frost said, “Two roads diverged in the wood and I, I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference.”
