— Jimi Hendrix
The message is simple and profound.
No need to add to Jimi’s words here.

An eager student new to Zen says to their Master, “Please, Master, I am a new student, teach me.”
“Have you eaten?” The Master replied.
“Yes,” the student said.
“Then wash your bowl.”
The student was enlightened.
The definition of integration, from Oxford dictionary is “the action or process of integrating.” & Integrate is defined as “combine (one thing) with another so that they become whole.”
The process of integration can take time, but it’s always happening.
Within these CoachT posts I bring to you what inspires me – ideas, people, places, experiences, and dreams.
One experience that highly influenced my life was my first experience with psilocybin mushrooms. You can read about my first psilocybin trip here.
I’ve also been involved as an activist towards legalizing plant medicines, because I know their healing qualities firsthand.
I’ve created a pen name, Psil Silva, where I share my experiences & add my two cents into life, in regards to the area of natural plant medicines like psilocybin mushrooms.
My name, your name, these aren’t as important as what is beyond our names – the peace beyond understanding.
& this is why it’s hard for many to understand – because it’s literally beyond understanding.
It’s an experience.
Anyway, I hope to integrate my websites, books, & ideas, to share the best of what I learn, with you.
It may be useful & it may not, so, as Bruce Lee says “absorb what is useful, reject what is useless, add what is essentially your own.”
It’s all related, all connected, and one of the short books I wrote that you may like best is titled The 7 Psychedelic Meditations.
Check it out here on Amazon & please leave a review.
Let me know what you think! 🙂
“Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald
You lost the game.
You won it next week.
You fell down.
You got back up.
You’ve been hated.
You’ve been loved.
Why is it easier for people to cling to the negative?
It could be, like Tupac said, that “fear is stronger than love.”
Or it could be the result of societies current dogmas.
Societies change, history shows us this, but it always begins at an individual level.
You may have been defeated once, or even hundreds of times, but life is not done with you yet.
Don’t confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.
Persevere.

– Aristotle
Where are you going?
What’s the rush?
Sometimes a sense of urgency is necessary, and sometimes it’s not.
And sometimes we’re all so busy rushing around that we forget the joy in this moment.
Take a deep breath.
Be here, now.
And from here, you can go anywhere.
“Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”
– Lao Tzu
What dream do you have?
Are you taking actions towards your dream?
What is one thing you can do today to begin turning dreams into reality?
It won’t happen overnight, but it won’t happen until you first have the dream.
“How will you serve the world? What do they need that your talent can provide? That’s all you have to figure out.”
– Jim Carrey
You have something the world not only wants, but needs.
If you haven’t found it yet, keep going, knowing that it is near.
It’s sometimes just around the corner.
When I landed an editorial internship with Ryan Holiday in 2018, I felt like I made it. Fame and wealth were on the way!
At the time, I felt like I had accomplished what was necessary and was on my way to the top. What I didn’t know at the time was the heroic responsibility that comes with this type of work, and I momentarily lost sight of my purpose.
What I learned is that the life-changing writing work we do as authors, writers, transformers, and creators is why we do it.
It’s not about getting famous and wealthy. It’s truly not.
It’s about becoming the best version of ourselves and creating work that helps others do the same. The fame and wealth, if meant to be, are by-products.
Now, as you adventure toward your purpose, your why, here are four things I learned while interning with Ryan Holiday that may serve as guides.

“If you don’t know where you are going any road can take you there”
― Lewis Carroll
Alice wandered around wonderland for awhile, not knowing where she was going. She experienced extraordinary wonders beyond belief, but she didn’t know what they all meant.
She didn’t know where she was going – she didn’t have a planned destination, so that is exactly what she experienced in wonderland.
Once you realize your dream, keep them with you. Your dreams are roadmaps on route to your destination, and they are yours for a reason.
Believe in your dreams, and watch them come true.
