Fall Seven Times & Rise Again

“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”
—Proverbs 24:16

You’ve stumbled. You’ve fallen. But you won’t let this keep you down. Not again. Not this time.

You’ve been created on this planet with a purpose. Some people find their purpose & live it out, while others contribute to purpose without knowing.

To find and live your true purpose requires a righteous pursuit. On this path you will fall much more than 7 times, but you will continue to rise and be stronger with each comeback.

You can go through your entire life with your eyes “closed”, or you can open your heart, mind, and soul and find the treasure that it waiting for you.

It’s your choice.

Pray about it.

Dream about it.

Love your fate.

& Rise again.

Comparison is the thief of joy

Theodore Roosevelt is given credit for the quote: “Comparison is the thief of joy.”

But that really doesn’t matter.

What’s important is what you do with this information.

Because how much time do you spend comparing your life to others? Or others’ lives against others’?

What’s better than comparison?

Inward reflection & gratitude.

Change Happens Now

Everything is happening right Now.

Transformation is happening in this Moment.

Now is where everything happens.

For example, reflect on yesterday. Everything you did yesterday was happening in the moment. The same is true for today.

Everything is literally happening right Now.

What are you doing Now?

The Power of The Dream

MLK jr. had a dream.

John Lennon imagined.

Jesus Christ lived a vision.

& the list goes on…

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
—Proverbs 29:18

Not only did the dreams of these greats serve as inspiration, they were necessary building blocks toward the quality of lives we live today as they continue to serve & inspire us to dream & take action toward our dreams.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho shares the dream.

Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth shares a vision.

Shakespeare said “Thoughts are but dreams till their effects be tried.”

& Einstein said “Imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”

Your thoughts & ideas — your dreams, hold more power than you think the do.

So what’s your dream?

What do you imagine?

What vision lives within you?

The Power of Your Imagination

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.”
-Albert Einstein

Einstein knew it.

Buddha knew it.

Jesus knew it.

& not only did they know it, they realized & embodied it – Imagination.

They of course had their own unique methods for sharing one of the most misunderstood truths within humanity, but they shared it.

It baffles me sometimes that we never learn about this in school – The Power of Imagination. We are almost always taught the opposite – Conform. Don’t question your teachers & adults because they are right! yea, that’s a big joke.

Ego has dominated the 20th century but it is loosening up in the 21st century. What we need now is Soul. Real Soul. & it’s happening.

Imagination comes from the Soul – True Imagination, & all the great spiritual teachers & great scientists understood this. That Imagination is not just some surreal & futile function of the human mind, but that it is playing a huge role in the manifestation of humanity & the lives of all beings.

“The human mind is our fundamental resource.”
— John F. Kennedy

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2

You have been gifted with the power of imagination. You can let it go to waste or you can learn more about it & play a role in the evolution of humanity.

The choice is truly yours.

What are you waiting for?

How much time do you spend waiting?

Waiting for someone else to do it.

Waiting for answers.

Waiting to feel better.

I’ve spent a lot of time waiting for these things to happen until I realized it is my responsibility to make it happen.

I am in the driver’s seat of my life just as you are in the driver’s seat of your life.

We can hitchhike & wander all our lives or we can learn how to drive.

Where are you going?

What are you waiting for?

A Herd of Cows Parable

A man had a herd of 250 cows and took great care looking after their welfare.

One day, however, a tiger ate one of them—and when the man noticed this, he thought, “I’ve lost one of my cows, and my herd is incomplete. What’s the point of having all these other cows?” And with that, the man drove all the cows off a cliff and to their death.

He is like a person who, after breaking just one precept of righteousness, thinks, “I’ve broken one, so I might as well abandon them all.”

“If” Inspirational Poem by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
