You Need A Stronger Mind

“If someone succeeds in provoking you, realize that your mind is complicit in the provocation.”

— Epictetus

Some miserable people live their life looking for the next opportunity to provoke or bother someone.

Don’t let it be you.

Even if they go out of their way to insult you – you can’t get angry if you have a strong mind.

The easy route is to be annoyed, to be miserable, to be distracted, to be hopeless, to be disempowered.

And the hard route is to live as an empowered individual. To remain calm, centered, and uneffected by the hate & misery of others.

Provocation is just another distraction sent by the ignorant to destroy your inner peace.

The ignorant have no life of their own so they become lifeless parasites, literally like diseased bugs, trying to spread their disease – their hate, misery, violence, ignorance, pain, etc. and they’ll get you if you don’t put your bug spray on.

And what is your bug spray in this situation? It’s focus.

You must remain focused on your mind and your life.

What are you doing with your life?

Where are you going?

What do you want your life to be like 2 years from now? 5 years. 10 years.

Maintain a long term vision, add goals, and act toward your best life, and when other people call you “difficult” it’s because you can’t be provoked or manipulated.

Stay true to your life path.

Ignore the haters.

Focus. Win.

The Power of Humility

Being humble is one thing, being humiliated is another.

In the moments of humiliation, the pain seems devastating, and sometimes it is.

If you make it through the humiliation, and you will, you will become stronger. Not at first, but later in time you will become stronger because of it.

The Bible talks to boast about your weaknesses, because that is when the power of Christ is fulfilled, and this is a paradox, but it’s true. It’s a paradox because any person who has been humiliated knows how devastating & painful that can be.

But, in time, the power of Christ will strengthen, & your humility will make you strong.

The Bible says that the humble will inherit the Earth…I think this will happen.

Living Beyond The News

“To a philosopher all news, as it is called, is gossip, and they who edit and read it are old women over their tea.”

— Thoreau

The media, the news, is often nothing more than gossip.

Most of today’s “popular” news really is fake news – to divert viewers attention away from the viewers life, & give it to an electronic media that doesn’t care about viewers.

The media is often dis-empowering, but there is a solution to regain your power – turn off the news. Ignore it. Politicians will still be lying & complaining tomorrow & the next day, & that’s not changing anytime soon.

Anyway, I sometimes watch the news for entertainment, but I don’t take it seriously. Some of it may be serious, but most of it’s not.

What is real is my life, and your life. What is real is your direct experience with life here & now & into your future.

You matter – & believe it or not, your life is more important than every single politician on this planet. I promise you this is true – your life is more important than theirs.

Take some time to turn off the news & reclaim your power, your life.

The Power of Your Imagination

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.”
-Albert Einstein

Einstein knew it.

Buddha knew it.

Jesus knew it.

& not only did they know it, they realized & embodied it – Imagination.

They of course had their own unique methods for sharing one of the most misunderstood truths within humanity, but they shared it.

It baffles me sometimes that we never learn about this in school – The Power of Imagination. We are almost always taught the opposite – Conform. Don’t question your teachers & adults because they are right! yea, that’s a big joke.

Ego has dominated the 20th century but it is loosening up in the 21st century. What we need now is Soul. Real Soul. & it’s happening.

Imagination comes from the Soul – True Imagination, & all the great spiritual teachers & great scientists understood this. That Imagination is not just some surreal & futile function of the human mind, but that it is playing a huge role in the manifestation of humanity & the lives of all beings.

“The human mind is our fundamental resource.”
— John F. Kennedy

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2

You have been gifted with the power of imagination. You can let it go to waste or you can learn more about it & play a role in the evolution of humanity.

The choice is truly yours.

Intro to A Panda’s Journey

The word “panda” originates from the Sanskrit word paṇḍita meaning ‘learned, wise’.

A Panda’s Journey incorporates Spirit & Mind with Quantum Physics to reveal the power within you.

The power within us all.

The power of realizing you are in control of your destiny.

“The mind is the root from which all things grow if you can understand the mind, everything else is included. It’s like the root of a tree. All a tree’s fruit and flowers, branches and leaves depend on its root. If you nourish its root, a tree multiplies. If you cut its root, it dies. Those who understand the mind reach enlightenment with minimal effort.”
― Bodhidharma

“17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
―2 Corinthians 4:16-18

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

A 3-Step Process to Begin Creating YOUR Life

1—Define your ideal life.

Ask yourself:
—“What does my ideal life look like?”
—“What does my ideal job look like?”
—“What do my ideal relationships look like?”

Continue this process of questions in each area you want to improve in.

2—Write down your answers.

It’s one thing to contemplate your ideal life, but when you write it on paper or a word doc, it enters the physical world and plants seeds into your subconscious.

3—Affirm your ideal life.

Your mind is like a garden, what you put into it is what will grow.

I have experienced this first-hand, “coincidentally” brushing shoulders with giants again and again. Affirm it daily. The more you affirm it, the more it will manifest.

“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think.”
—Buddha

“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.”
―Thomas Jefferson

“If you have a strong mind and plant in it a firm resolve, you can change your destiny.”
―Paramahansa Yogananda

This process is extremely effective in manifesting a life of your choosing. It’s simple yet requires great responsibility.

Some say “With great power comes great responsibility,” but it’s more like “With great responsibility comes great power.”

Great spiritual teachers spoke of this.
Great psychologists spoke of this.
Great philosophers spoke of this.
&Great scientists speak of this.

The path of Responsibility.
The path of Empowerment.
The path of Truth.

The path to your Best Life.

What Impact Do Your Thoughts Have?

Your thoughts come and go like waves in an ocean. Sometimes they’re ceaseless, sometimes stagnant, but it doesn’t change the fact that your Mind is powerful.

You know it. Scientists & Researchers know it. I know it. Jesus & Buddha knew it. But we still barely know anything about it. Scientists are finally discovering the quantum physics impact thoughts are having.

They’re finding that your thoughts DO impact your experience — They send out energy vibrations, as well as receive energy vibrations from the thoughts of others.

We often think our thoughts are uncontrollable, but this is only because we haven’t disciplined our thoughts – we’ve been taught to believe they are uncontrollable, but it’s possible to train your mind. Thoughts will still come and go, but when you practice redirecting and choosing your thoughts, your life will massively improve.

Your life shifts in the way of your mind.

What are you doing today to strengthen your mind?

The Collapse & Renewal of “The System”

Can you feel it?

The tensions rising along with the sea levels.

Awareness rising in the corruption that has contaminated the entire world from micro to macro levels and everything in between.

I know you can feel it. I can too.

We’re coming to a tipping point in the Systems we’ve built throughout the previous centuries.

These Systems can’t last if we want to last as a human race.

The game of Power, Corruption, and Deception are fading, making way for an up to date and well founded System.

Is it difficult to believe that it’s possible to have Systems built on Trust, Cooperation, Shared Success, and Forgiveness that disciplines with love and does not punish mindlessly?

When a baby is learning to walk and they fall, do you punish them?

Do you tell them “You’re no good. You’re never going to be able to walk. Don’t even try it. Go to your crib.”

Or do you lift them up and encourage them, knowing that they will walk one day.

In life, when we humans are learning to “human,” and we make a mistake we are usually punished for it.

There’s no love in punishment so there’s no real growth. I understand if you believe there is love in punishment because that is what recent generations have been raised to believe. But many many studies show how punishment is not working!

Here is an article from Psychology Today discussing the many ways punishment impacts your child, including how punishment does not teach your child accountability. Also 10 ways to guide children without punishment is included in this article.

Here is a Pinterest page sharing many articles on how to love your kids and others unconditionally as well as how to deal with aggressive or inappropriate behavior in others.

I don’t know the full solution but I do know that discipline with love would help.

Is that hard to do? Absolutely.

And it’s easy to punish.

We all know that beautiful things take time to flourish, such as a flower. It needs cared for and nurtured to grow. If we punish the flower by cutting part of it off it will never be able to blossom into the flower it is meant to become.

Of course there will be resistance and some discomfort against the new System, as there is with all fights for justice, but in the end “the arc of the moral universe bends toward justice,” as MLK Jr. once said.

They say if it’s not broken don’t fix it…But we’ve got ourselves a broken System.

I do love my country but don’t you also want a better life for future generations of all backgrounds?

Education. Politics. Athletics. Business. Hollywood. And just about all current Systems have some corruption within them.

You can’t blame them though. That’s just how it’s been.

But it’s a new day. It’s a new era.

The shame blame game will hopefully come to an end and love with discipline can take its place.

No one is perfect, and until we can fully realize that and change how we deal with all our imperfections and how we treat each other, we just won’t last.

Who am I to write this? Just a flawed fellow human on this journey of life, trying to figure it out.

But we adapt. That’s what we do as humans. Look at history.

Shall we adapt once more?
